Are you a dedicated and compassionate nurse looking for a flexible role within a supportive and professional environment? We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and skilled Bank Staff Nurses to join our dynamic team, providing outstanding palliative care to our patients and their families.

 

About the Role

As a Bank Staff Nurse at our In-Patient Centre, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, holistic care to patients with specialist palliative care needs. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all patients receive the highest standard of physical, psychological, spiritual, and emotional care.

This role offers flexibility and variety, allowing you to work shifts that suit your availability while gaining valuable experience in a specialist palliative care environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care that upholds the dignity and safety of patients at all times.

  • Undertake comprehensive nursing assessments, develop and evaluate personalised care plans.

  • Administer medication safely and effectively, in line with NMC guidelines and hospice policies.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Provide advice, support, and education to patients, families, and colleagues.

  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance within the In-Patient Centre.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration.

  • Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience.

  • Passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred palliative care.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of palliative care is essential
